The highly anticipated online promotional campaign “Free Gifts Campaign” has been launched in our desktop and mobile CMS! Not only can it entice customers to buy items, but also help you get repeat purchases!

Boutir has specially launched it before Christmas to aid in pushing up your sales in the festive season!

Remark: The feature is only applicable to Business plan and Business PLUS plan

How to create a “Free Gifts Campaign” in Desktop CMS?

1. Login your account in our desktop CMS (https://www.boutir.com/user_cms/log-in)

2. Click “Add campaigns” on the “Promotions” page

3. Select “Free Gift Campaign”

4. Enter the campaign came (for record only, not displaying at storefront) and select your target audience

5. Set the purchase requirement

6. Choose “Get selected product free (Free Gift)”, and then click “+ Add”

7. After selecting product(s), please click “Add to list”

8. Set the quantity of selected product(s) that each order can redeem

Note:

  • Customers can choose “Please don’t send me gift” at checkout.
  • If there are more than one type of free gifts, each customer can only choose one of them. (e.g. Each customer can have either 2 dolls or 1 handbag.)
  • If the inventory is insufficient, customers can notice on the checkout page.
  • If the number of gifts in stock is 0, “Please don’t send me gift” would be the default option for all customers.

9. After choosing the start date and the end date, click “Preview”

Note: Once the campaign starts, you are not allowed to edit the start date, but you can extend the end date or stop the campaign anytime.

10. The page shows all details about the campaign. Please click:

  • “Change details” if you have to edit its setting
  • “Set up” if the setting is correct

11. When you see this infobox, it means your campaign has been created successfully


How to create a “Free Gifts Campaign” via Boutir app?

1. Open our Boutir app and tap “Promotion” on its homepage

2. Tap “In-store promotion” > “Create” in the “ONLINE PROMOTION CAMPAIGN” session 

3. Tap “Free gift campaign”

4. Enter the campaign name (for record only, not displaying at storefront) 

5. Tap “Done” after selecting target audiences

6. For setting a minimum requirement:

(a) If there is no requirement, please select “No requirement” and then tap “Done”

(b) If you select “Minimum spending amount”, please tap “Done” after typing the amount

(c) If you select “Purchasing specific product(s)”:

1) Please tap “Add”

2) Please tap “Done” after selecting product(s)

3) If product options are available, please specify the option(s) and then tap “Done”

4) Please tap “Done” if the setting is correct

Note: 

  • Customers can enjoy the offer when purchasing all selected product(s) shown on the list above with a certain quantity or above.
  • For example, there are 3 types of product on the list, and the number of each product item is 1. That means only when purchasing all 3 types of products (at least 1 per each type) can customers enjoy the offer.

7. Please tap “Offer” > “Add”

8. Please tap “Done” after selecting product(s)

9. Set the quantity of selected product(s) that each order can redeem

Note:

  • Customers can choose “Please don’t send me gift” at checkout.
  • If there are more than one type of free gifts, each customer can only choose one of them. (e.g. Each customer can have either 2 dolls or 1 handbag.)
  • If the inventory is insufficient, customers can notice on the checkout page.

10. Select the start date and end date

11. After tapping “Preview”:

  • Please click “←” in the upper left corner if the setting has to be changed
  • Please click “Confirm to setup” if the setting is correct

12. When you see this infobox, it means the code has been created successfully. Please tap “View campaigns” 

13. If you need to find a created promo code or change its setting, please return to the “Promotion” page and tap “View” in the “ONLINE PROMOTION CAMPAIGN” session


Note:

  • Promo code cannot be used when a campaign offer has applied at customers checkout, except “Shipping Discounts”.
  • When both “First Purchase Offer” and “Member Order Discount” are active, members who have never made any purchases before can only see and enjoy the “First Purchase Offer” once they reach the requirements.
