Easier to set up your Branded Homepage
Why do we need this?
To maintain ‘freshness’ and keep customers in the long run, businesses may prepare more than one homepage for different purposes and switch from time to time. We need a more intuitive set up process to reduce the friction.
What has changed?
You may now create and publish a new page as your branded homepage on the same journey instead of creating a page first and then go back to the page list to set it as homepage.
Where to find it?
Desktop – Boutir Admin login: https://www.boutir.com/business/en/
- Under “Customise” section on the sidebar, expand “Design” menu, select “Custom page”
- Click the large “Create homepage” button or the “Home” button under “Create page/home” dropdown
- Build a custom page**
- Click “Publish”, check the checkbox to confirm setting up branded homepage

What is the platform?

Why do we need this?
The fixed size carousel looks great on desktop but not enough for mobile devices. Since your online store traffic is mainly from mobile devices, using story blocks would give a close to full screen experience and also an immediate engagement when your customers land on your store.
What has changed?
With this update, you can now add large story blocks and smaller carousels for different purposes. Your customers can check the products featured and shop directly from there. Shopping in your store will be more enjoyable leading to more sales.

- Under “Customise” section on the sidebar, expand “Design” menu, select “Custom page”
- Create/Edit pages
- Add shoppable video Component
- Select layout
- Select channel and playlist
If Carousel is being used, you might also specify the video size
Story Block example:
- A close to full screen experience (Promising engagement number)
- If a product card is created for the video, the product thumbnail will be shown (High conversion rate)

More flexibility for managing store header menu
Why do we need this?
We know that the system default pages might not 100% suit your needs. You might want to hide them and show your own custom pages on the store header menu instead. With the help of page navigation in footer and hiding unnecessary pages, you may optimise the store navigation and provide the best shopping experience for your customers. Adding pages to the menu automatically can save your time too~
What has changed?
Except for the “Products” page, you may now hide all the system default pages you found not relevant on the store header menu. To show your custom pages on the menu, pages can be added to the menu automatically after publishing now. You just need to reorder the menu items.

Hiding system default pages:
- Click the horizontal three dots menu, select “Hide”
- Click “Save” to save the changes
Adding pages to header menu automatically:
- Create/Edit custom pages
- Publish pages
- Check the checkbox to confirm adding the page to header menu

Page navigation in footer
Why do we need this?
To better organise the store navigation and improve SEO, putting links in the page footer could help a lot!
What has changed?
With this update, you can group the informative links in the page footer and free up the precious space in the header menu.

- Under “Customise” section on the sidebar, expand “Design” menu, select “Page footer”
- Click “Change template” and select “Page navigation” to choose the template you like (More templates are coming!!)
- Hover the page navigation section, click “Edit” to name the navigation menu (optional) and to select and add published pages or links
- Click “Save & Publish” to apply your custom page footer

Add-on service: MPower x Boutir – Automated WhatsApp Order Notifications
Why do we need this?
For merchants who want to better connect with their customers by Whatsapp for order-related or marketing communications, they have to manually start Whatsapp messaging with individual customers to connect on whatsapp. It requires a lot of effort and time.
What has changed?
Now Boutir partners with MPower to offer an add-on service to merchants who communicate with customers a lot by Whatsapp. Starting from $100 a month, customers will receive order-related notifications by Whatsapp on top of email. In the message, there is a direct link for customers to kick start whatsapp conversation with the Merchants directly. It connects the customers directly to merchants for order inquiries or promotions.
